Edinboro University, located in quaint Edinboro, PA, is 20 miles south of Erie, and is home to 17 varsity sports teams across NCAA Division I and Division II.

Sox Harrison Stadium has been improved recently with the installation of an artificial surface, Sportexe, new lighting for evening events, and a new scoreboard. The stadium, which has a press box on each side, multiple locker rooms, and a training room, is used for football, soccer, track, and lacrosse, has a capacity to seat 6,000 people in its two grandstands. The natatorium at McComb Fieldhouse features a six-lane, 25-yard pool. The gymnasium at McComb Fieldhouse has a seating capacity of 3,500, and is home to the basketball, volleyball, and wrestling teams. The Mike S. Zafirovski Sports and Recreation Dome is the largest air-supplied facility in the tri-state area at over 85,000 square feet. The facility has a six-lane 230 meter indoor track as well as four multi-purpose courts.

Edinboro has also recently completed an E-Sports competition space that has 25 gaming computers located on campus in Hamilton Hall. The Royal Scots Disc Golf Links is comprised of two 9-hole layouts. The "Lowlands" begin behind the Pogue Student Center and plays around Mallory Lake. The "Highlands" is located throughout the Doug Watts Cross Country Course. This course features three tee locations at each hole to appeal to players of all skill levels, and three pin locations for a variety of challenges.
