A trip to Erie just isn’t complete without spending time on the water! Plan to spend a day at Presque Isle State Park, the most visited state park in Pennsylvania. Your whole family will enjoy making memories in Erie. Waldameer Park and Water World features more than 100 rides, slides, and attractions, including the Ravine Flyer II, the 7th best wooden roller coaster in the world! At Waldameer, parking and admission are free - so the whole family can enter, but you only pay for the rides! The Erie SeaWolves are back in action at UPMC Park, where you can see up and coming major league talent up close! Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park is 84 degrees year-round, so you can splash around all year.

Recently named a top indoor water park by USA Today, Splash Lagoon features seven water slides, pools, hot tubs, a 12-level interactive Tree House, a Tree Tops Ropes Course, a 6,500 square foot arcade, wave pool and the all new FlowRider, an indoor body board and surf machine. The water park is attached to three hotels as well as newly relocated Quaker Steak & Lube.

Game on: sports are back and going strong in Erie County in 2023! Catch the future pros in action at an Erie SeaWolves game as the team welcomes fans back to UPMC Park. The team, the AA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, has been a stopping point for many future MLB stars. History, Art, and Culture

Maritime history, modern murals and sculpture walks, and an active calendar of music and theater are just some of the highlights of Erie's cultural scene. Take a step back in time at any of the 18 unique exhibits at the Hagan History Center in downtown Erie, including Frank Lloyd Wright's original San Francisco office. The Erie Maritime Museum offers guests a glimpse into the contributions that Erie and Pennsylvania have made on the maritime industry, including Erie's own tall ship, the Flagship Niagara. Indulge your creative side at the Erie Art Museum, on a self-guided mural arts or sculpture tour or by creating a project at Creation Station! Kids can get in on the action too: the expERIEnce Children's Museum offers hands-on fun, well suited for children up to age 8. Erie welcomes a variety of nationally touring acts as well as local theater as well - check out the calendars of Erie Events, the Erie Philharmonic and Erie Playhouse to get tickets to a show while you're in town.
