Penn State Behrend will be hosting the West Penn Ultimate DIII College Men’s Conferences Championship this weekend.
Teams from across the region will compete in the ultimate frisbee tournament to win the conference title. The championship provides college athletes an opportunity to showcase their skills and compete at high levels within their conference.
The championship is scheduled to take place on Saturday with games starting at 10:30 a.m. and on Sunday starting at 9 a.m. In the event of inclement weather, the championship may be postponed until next weekend.
This weekend also marks the second weekend of the PA State USBC Open Championships at Eastland Bowl and Eastway Lanes. Competition takes place Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at Eastland and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at Eastway.
In addition, the 72nd Annual Lucas Oil Race of Champions was scheduled to return to Lake Erie Speedway Saturday. However, due to inclement weather, the event has been postponed. A rescheduled date will be announced in the near future.
