The Erie Whiteout Weekend, hosted by Premier Ice Prospects, will return to Erie this Friday through Sunday.
The tournament features female youth hockey players in the 10U and 12U age groups, open to Tier I (AAA), Tier II (AA) and Tier III teams.
Teams will compete in a four-game guarantee format, with games held at the LECOM Sports Park and Flo Fabrizio Ice Center.
This tournament attracts 22 teams with 450 athletes traveling from Canada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Virginia.
“The Erie Whiteout Weekend showcases the great talent and passion within girls’ youth hockey, and we’re proud to bring this event back to Erie. With teams traveling from multiple states and Canada, this tournament provides a competitive environment that helps young athletes grow and develop within hockey,” said Brian Oliver, tournament director of Premier Ice Prospects.
Game times run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
