Erie, Pa: This weekend is full of youth competition, featuring the Ninja Sport Championship (NSC) Youth Qualifier at Sinai Sports and the EPIC Volleyball Girls 16 Regional at Fort LeBoeuf High School; two events showcasing emerging athletes and bringing families together for high‑energy, skill‑driven competition.
On March 7-8, approximately 100 youth athletes, ranging from ages 8-14+, will compete in the NSC Youth Qualifier, with participants traveling from Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Nevada, Minnesota and Canada. This event features a professionally designed obstacle course that challenges competitors’ strength, agility and determination, serving as a pathway for athletes to earn their place in the 2026 NSC National Finals. The qualifier uses the NSC’s three-discipline format; Hybrid, Speed and Burnout, with rules grounded in NSC’s retry system, giving competitors structured second chances on obstacles and combining scores across courses to determine overall results. In addition to competition, the event offers young athletes the opportunity to gain experience under national‑level standards, engage with trained coaches, and build confidence in a supportive, community‑centered environment.
The NSC Youth Qualifier at Sinai Sports emphasizes accessibility and athlete development within NSC’s standardized format. Courses are professionally designed to test agility, grip strength, speed, and endurance, while the format blends objective timing with technical execution.
Also on the weekend lineup, the EPIC Volleyball Girls 16 Regional will take place Sunday, March 8 at Fort LeBoeuf High School. Scheduled as a one‑day tournament, the event includes pool play and best‑of‑three rally scoring. EPIC’s Girls 16 Regional provides a meaningful early‑season platform for regional clubs and their 16U athletes, helping teams test lineups, refine systems and build momentum for the remainder of the competitive year.
