Erie, Pa: Lax Bash Tournaments will host The Boo Bash at Erie Sports Center on Saturday, Oct. 16 and Sunday, Oct. 17. The tournament will feature boys and girls teams from U10 through varsity divisions.
This will be the first major event hosted by the Erie Sports Center since new ownership took over what was formerly the dome and fields of ERIEBANK Sports Park. It is the fourth time that Lax Bash Tournaments has hosted an event in Erie, Pa.
“We are excited to be hosting our first major lacrosse tournament at the Erie Sports Center,” said Troy Bingham, co-owner of the Erie Sports Center. “We have worked hard to get the facility and fields ready and in good shape, as well as opening our LUMI Café for guests for the first time, which offers healthy food and beverage options to visitors. We are hoping this tournament will provide a launch pad to grow the sport in the region”
As part of the event, Lax Bash will host a food drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania. All participants have been asked to bring a donation. Canned good donations will be accepted onsite. Participants are also encouraged to participate in a costume contest.
