Champion Cheer Central will host five cheer and dance competitions in Erie, Pa. during its 2021-22 season, starting with the annual Lights! Camera! Action! Cheer and Dance Extravaganza on Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Bayfront Convention Center. More than 70 school, recreation and all-star cheer and dance squads from the tri-state area are expected to compete in the event.
The Albion-based company will host a total of five events in Erie over the course of its season, including:
- Lights! Camera! Action! Cheer and Dance Extravaganza (Dec. 4, Bayfront Convention Center)
- Erie Winter Beach Blast Cheer and Dance Championships (Jan. 22, Bayfront Convention Center)
- Hard Rockin' National Dance Championships (Jan. 23, Bayfront Convention Center)
- Champions of Dance (April 9-10, Bayfront Convention Center)
- Lake Erie National Cheer and Dance Championships (April 9-10, Erie Insurance Arena)
Champion Cheer Central has been operating cheerleading camps and cheer and dance competitions for nearly 30 years. Competitions are regularly hosted in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and New York.
