Erie's biggest obstacle course race is back, Saturday, September 11! Participants will take on ten miles of sand, water and trails - it's the nature of the Beast! All proceeds from the event benefit the Barber National Institute.
A 10-mile obstacle course features more than 30 custom obstacles on the shores of Lake Erie, beginning at Presque Isle State Park Beach 10 and ending at Waldameer Park and Water World. Participants will receive a t-shirt, finishers medal and beer at the finish line!
Elite Wave - 8:30 a.m.
Timed Waves - 8:45 a.m., 9 a.m., or 9:15 a.m.
Non-Timed Waves - 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Register individually or on a team here. Barber Beast on the bay also offers an adapted one-mile course for individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities. The one-mile course is held at Waldameer Park on primarily paved roads, and features fourteen obstacles. All participants cross the finish line together.
