Sarah Backstrom Memorial Tournament (10U / 12U / 14U)

32nd Annual Sarah Backstrom Memorial Hockey Tournament - Hosted by Lake Effect Hockey

One of the longest-running all-girls tournament in the United States returns to Erie for two weeks, due to popular demand. Games will be held across multiple venues throughout the region.

More than 93 teams are registered, including teams traveling from Florida, Colorado and Montana.

At least two divisions are expected in every age group, with some—such as 14U—featuring up to five. All divisions are aligned with MyHockey rankings to ensure competitive balance. Spots remain available in every age group.

Lake Effect Hockey is proud to partner once again with the Mario Lemieux Foundation to support pediatric leukemia research and awareness. A portion of tournament proceeds will be donated to the foundation; last year’s event contributed more than $10,000.
