UPMC Park is a baseball-only stadium located adjacent to Erie Insurance Arena in the heart of downtown Erie that can seat 6,000 spectators. In 2019, the Park received a total field upgrade as well as the installation of a new, high-definition LED main scoreboard and a 70-foot ribbon board. Further stadium updates were in progress in 2020, and will include a new entrance, new team store, an upper-level stadium club connected to Erie Insurance Arena, an updated picnic and beer garden, enhanced suites with updated furniture and expanded patios, and renovated restrooms.
The new UPMC Park Stadium Club will be one of Erie's premier downtown meeting spaces. Located on the top level of the new left-field stadium building, the year-round facility will feature accommodations for up to 230 people, and be accessible by both exterior and interior entrances.
The updated picnic and beer garden features six boxes to accommodate 20 guests, as well as a hospitality space in front of the first level of the picnic garden. The suite level at UPMC Park will see a brand-new Home Plate Suite for the 2021 season, featuring an accordion glass door with an outdoor deck overlooking the seating bowl and field, with the ability to accommodate 40 people. The AA Eastern League’s Erie Seawolves are a current affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and have called the park home since 1999. The ballpark has also been a popular site for college and high school baseball games.
