UPMC Park, formerly Jerry Uht Park, is a baseball-only stadium located adjacent to Erie Insurance Arena in the heart of downtown Erie that can seat 4,200 spectators. In 2019, the Park received a total field upgrade as well as the installation of a new, high-definition LED main scoreboard and a 70-foot ribbon board. The stadium also features a two-tiered Picnic Garden which contains 11 luxury boxes, new concession stands and has six luxury suites in the main grandstand. The AA Eastern League’s Erie Seawolves have called the park home since 1999, and are a current affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The ballpark has also been a popular site for college and high school baseball games.
The field and scoreboard upgrades are part of a major stadium renovation, with further upgrades expected in 2020 including enhanced suites and a new entrance and stadium club.
