UPMC Park, formerly Jerry Uht Park, is a baseball-only stadium located adjacent to Erie Insurance Arena in the heart of downtown Erie that can seat 4,200 spectators. Recent improvements include a modern electronic scoreboard with a 40-foot video display and a two-tiered Picnic Garden which contains 11 luxury boxes and new concession stands. The ballpark also has six luxury suites in the main grandstand. The AA Eastern League’s Erie Seawolves have called the park home since 1999, and are a current affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The ballpark has also been a popular site for college and high school baseball games.
The Park will undergo major renovations before the 2019 season, including field and scoreboard updates, with further renovations expected in 2020.
