The second annual Crossing the Frontier 5K/10K will be held at Frontier Park on Saturday, June 1 beginning at 8 a.m. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Semper Fi Fund, a nonprofit organization providing immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post-9/11 combat wounded, critically ill and catastrophically injured veterans of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.
Several PT stations will be located along the course, with participants being led in a variety of exercises by veterans, members of the military and the Erie Bureau of Police SWAT Team.
Registration will be accepted on race day, and remains open online through Friday at https://runsignup.com/Race/PA/Erie/CrossingtheFrontier5K10K. A $5 registration discount will be given to members of the Erie Runners Club, veterans and members of the military.

7 a.m.: DJ Michael Wykoff (U.S. Army veteran)
7 a.m.: Chinese Auction Opens
7:30 a.m.: Pre-race warm up begins, led by U.S. Marines
8 a.m.: 5K and 10K races begin
