19th Annual Event set for Jan. 17-20 at Bayfront Convention Center
Erie, Pa: Two events this weekend will have a major impact on the local economy, generating a combined $2.6 million in estimated economic impact.
Erie, Pa: CollClubSports has announced that the first-ever National Club Basketball Association (NCBBA) Women’s National Championship will be held at Gannon University’s Hammermill Center. The first-time event will be held April 17-19.
Erie, Pa: Two Erie Sports Commission (ESC) staff members have been promoted, effective Jan. 1, 2020. Emily Biddle has been promoted to Marketing and Communications Director, and Ben Huggler has been promoted to Event Services Director.
Applications are now being accepted for the Erie Sports Commission’s Facility Matching Funds Program. Established in 2019, the program provides funds to facilities capable of hosting sporting events, with the intent to continue to grow sports tourism in the region. A total of $10,000 is available for projects in 2020.
