Hydroght is back in Erie, PA with even more exciting water sports on Erie's bayfront!
The 2018 HydroFlight National Tour will stop in Erie, hosting HydroFlight competitions on Presque Isle Bay Saturday, July 14, with the addition of the SUPcross Tour on Sunday, July 15.
Spectator admission to both events is free. The best locations for viewing competition will be along Dobbins Landing, or on the shorline outside of the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel. Viewing will also be available on the east side of the Bayfront Convention Center.
HydroFlight uses the power of water to send a rider through the air at extreme speeds and soaring heights. A hose is installed into each participants' personal watercraft (PWC), making all of the water power that it would use to move to be re-routed to a jetpack strapped to the rider. The flyer uses the power of the jet stream to perform intricate stunts and maneuvers.
