Tickets Now Available for 68th Annual Race of Champions 250

Event Set for Lake Erie Speedway Thursday, Sept. 27 through Saturday, Sept. 29

Erie, Pa: The Erie Sports Commission is pleased to announce that tickets are now available for the 68th Annual Race of Champions 250 at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pa. The event is scheduled to be held for the second year at the venue Thursday, Sept. 27 through Saturday, Sept. 29.

The schedule and ticket pricing for the 2018 event will remain the same as the 2017 event. Thursday, Sept. 27 will be an open practice day, while Friday, Sept. 28 will see championship events for the Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series along with the Race of Champions Super Stocks. Saturday, Sept. 29 will see the running of the 68th Annual Race of Champions 250.

Admission to Thursday’s open practice day is free.

Admission to Friday’s events is $25 for adult general admission, $23 for seniors and military, $30 for reserved seating, $10 for youth and free for youth under 5 years old. Saturday tickets are $35 for adult general admission, $33 for seniors and military, $40 for reserved seating, $12 for youth and free for youth under 5 years old.

Two-day tickets are available for $45 for general admission and $55 for reserved tickets.

Pit Passes and Camping Passes are also available for members and non-members.

The three-day event is the final event of the Race of Champions’ 2018 asphalt racing calendar. The event is the second-longest consecutive-running auto racing event in North America, second only to the Indianapolis 500. The event returned to Pennsylvania in 2017 following a 25-year absence in the Keystone State.

The Erie Sports Commission and Lake Erie Speedway last year announced that the organizations reached a three-year deal to keep Race of Champions at Lake Erie Speedway through 2020.
