Weekend Ice Fishing Event Moved to Presque Isle Bay

Friday Jan 19th, 2018

The Western PA Hardwater Series will host its second ice fishing tournament of the season January 20 on Presque Isle Bay. The event, which was originally scheduled to be held on Edinboro Lake, was relocated to Presque Isle Bay to take advantage of safer ice conditions.

Registration will begin at 5 a.m. tomorrow at the Chestnut Street Ramp. The tournament will begin at 7 a.m., with weigh-ins to begin at 2:30 p.m.

The entry fee is $80 for a one- or two-man team, with an optional $10 lunker fee. Registration will happen at the Chestnut Street Ramp from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.

The WPA Hardwater Series will host its Series Championship event on Presque Isle Bay on February 24-25. Information on that tournament will be released at a later date.
